Senior Mixed Wednesday 1:00 pm League
- A very popular league, it usually fills with 16 teams each season
- An age requirement is you must be 50 + years old
- The league runs from Early October until late March (Approx. 21-22 games)
- You can curl the full season for approx. $160 or for just the first half or the second half for approx. $40
- This is a Classified League which means, teams are drawn out of the hat, the drawmasters do their best to ensure the teams are as evenly matched as possible
- Teams curl together until Christmas time, then teams are re-drawn and curl together until March
- This is a very social league, which generally has a pot-luck party at Christmas time and a wrap up party the last Wednesday they curl at the end of the season
- The league is administer through the Senior Ladies Executive, league reps are chosen at the end of each season for the up coming season
- There isn’t any empty seat in the coffee shop after the games are finished; there is just way too much laughter going on as they do their 50/50 draws and socialize after the games
- If you have never curled before and now find you have the time and would like to try it, this is a great starting league
- Check out our Novice Clinics afternoons and evenings (Oct 3-5) and Free Lessons every Wednesday night 8:00-10:00 pm throughout the season.
- Private lessons can always be arranged for a small fee
- We have a well supplied Pro Shop for all your curling needs
- Volunteer opportunities are available in many areas of the Club i.e.) bonspiels, coaching and instructing, special events, building projects, website updates, submitting standings to local media, gathering information for our local Club Chronicle etc..
