If you are 55 or older, you can’t have a better time
than by joining the Nanaimo Senior Men’s Curling Club.

Curl Tuesdays & Fridays from the beginning of October
(October 2) to the end of March (40 games)

And it’s not expensive – unless you count the money you
spend having coffee after.

4 squares of 10 games to determine a champion. Then
it’s a new team and another square with a chance to win another
championship.

It’s past October 2 ???? No problem. You can join
anytime and still be placed on a team.

And if that isn’t enough fun, there’s the 32 team
bonspiel in November with 16 in town teams vying with 16 out of
town teams for bragging rights.

And did you ever want to play all four positions or on
four different teams in a single day? You can do both. The Turkey
Shoot run by Bernie Waatainen is just what you want. December 7th
is the date. Fun, prizes and raise a few dollars for the Sally Ann and
other worthy causes. This one sells out fast.

And of course, we can never let the season end without
some more fun. The windup banquet with prizes galore gets everyone
together early in April.

And don’t forget the annual golf tournament in August.
A prelude to the coming year with the net proceeds going to the Heart &
Stroke thanks to one of our life time members Mr. Archie McIntosh.
