Senior 68+ Men’s

• If you are 68 or older (we have an over 90), you can’t have a better time than by joining the 68+ league.

• Curl Monday’s and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. from October 1 until late March.

• 4 squares of 10 games to determine a champion.  Then it’s a new team and another square with a chance to win another championship.

• It’s past October 1 ????  No problem.  You can join anytime and still be placed on a team.  The league is very social and new members are always welcome.

• And if that isn’t enough fun, there’s the 16 team bonspiel in February with 8 in town teams vying with 8 out of town teams for bragging rights.  If things look right, this may become a 24 team event.  Certainly we think it will grow into one of the biggest 68+ events on the island

• And did you ever want to play all four positions or on four different teams in a single day?  You can do both.  The Turkey Shoot run by Bernie Waatainen is just what you want.  December 7^th is the date.  Fun, prizes and raise a few dollars for the Sally Ann and other worthy causes.  This one sells out fast.

• And of course, we can never let the season end without some more fun.  The windup banquet with prizes galore gets everyone together early in April.

• And don’t forget the annual golf tournament in August.  A prelude to the coming year with the net proceeds going to the Heart & Stroke thanks to one of our life time members Mr. Archie McIntosh.
